The Northern Crater - Fanfics

Kit is SOLDIER First Class, working as top-level security for Shinra Inc., when she is given a startling assignment, to find and kill the legendary Sephiroth. But once she comes face to face with him, she finds she can't go through with it. He's not quite what she expected... and neither is she herself.
After leaving Midgar with him, Kit soon finds herself caught up in a struggle to not only save the man she loves, but the entire planet. However, to save one, she may have to sacrifice the other...

Note - This story takes place during approximately the same time frame as the game, and in fact is written as if Kit was a secret character who could join your party. Think of it as a "what if" story. Also, though this is kind of a romance, I'm not going to let it get beyond a PG-13 rating, meaning no uhm... explicit stuff. And it's full of spoilers, but if you've ever come to a page with a Sephiroth shrine, you're probably not worried about spoilers anyway. ^,^

Finally, I did a pic of Seph and Kit I didn't hate! Of course, that might just be because I added all those Photoshop effects and covered up how crappy it was... At any rate, it's a vast improvement over the old one.

Most recent chapter: What can I say? Chapter Fifty is the conclusion, where the loose ends are tied up... including the biggest loose end of all, what the baby's name will be! Thanks for all the visits, folks, it's been swell... and as glad as I am to have it finished at last, I'm kind of sad that it's over too. But at least I've got a sequel coming, perhaps! ;)
