Despite the fact that the wrong email address was in the link on the submissions page (now fixed), despite various computer, ISP, and server problems, this update went rather smoothly. It's got to be fate.

   Fate plays a large role in this edition of Sketch Artist, in fact. Newcomer Laura offers up a tribute to the undying love between Final Fantasy IV's Cecil and Rosa in "Written In The Stars". The rest of the artwork is from Xenogears, whose plot largely revolves around fate. Zachary Knoles portrays a rather disturbing introduction in "When Jessie Met Elly", while Kei returns with a beautiful portrait of Kelvena, "Elemental". Amber Michelle also returns after a long absence with "Sitting Pretty", a portrait of Elly done in her easily recognizable colored pencils.
