Brian Maniscalco is temporarily away for the week while he travels to exotic, worldly locales seeking the most talented and gifted fan artists just waiting to be discovered. (Well, either that, or he's trying to pick up French women.) He'll be back shortly to resume regular updates.

   As always, Xenogears makes a strong showing in the art department, with Kei and new Sketch Artist artist Treclionstien contributing "June*Mermaid" and "Elly", respectively. Wulfmune revisits Brigandine with "Lyonesse", depicting the kind-hearted Queen of Lyonesse. In "Great Bird", Ryuuzaki depicts Nina and the Great Bird from Breath of Fire II, while, last but not least, Sephiroth and Cloud take center stage in By and V's "Double Force".
