Snowhead Up the Slopes More walkthrough

ITEMS TO GET: Lens of Truth, Hot Spring Water, Goron Mask, Large Quiver, Largest Quiver, Biggest Bomb Bag

Now that you have the bow, both the Clock Town and Southern Swamp shooting galleries are open, along with day 3 of the Honey and Darling Shop. After shooting a few rounds of arrows, exit to the north of Clock Town to make your way towards the next area in the game, Snowhead. Take along a few bombs and a stock of arrows, shooting the piece of ice that hangs over the block in the road to clear your way. Follow the path north, bomb the snow boulders that block the path.

There's a log cabin in the next area, check inside to find a smithy whose furnace is covered in ice. Even a place called "Snowhead" isn't used to this much cold. Take the southeast exit from the cabin area and head towards Goron Village. Stay on the rope bridges, killing White Wolfos and buying a Snowhead map from Tingle if you hadn't already. Note the hole covered by the giant block of ice, then move on to next area. You can either talk to the shivering Goron to enter Goron Village or keep on with your quest, proceeding to the east end of the area and chatting with the giant owl.

Accept his challenge, then follow the feathers he drops by jumping on the invisible platforms they land on. Enter the cave and collect the Lens of Truth from the treasure chest. Activate the lens to see the Skultulla and smaller chest behind the main treasure chest, then walk back outside and jump over the platforms, using the lens to make them visible.

Waiting on the other side is a grey Goron ghost floating idly. Use the lens to see him, then follow his lead back through the previous areas. Conserve magic power by turning off the lens and simply following his shadow, turning it back on when he stops. He'll fly over the floating ice blocks and then up the wall north of the log cabin; use the lens to see the part of the wall you can climb. Take the right, left, then right braches on your way up the wall, speak to the ghost again and head inside the cave.

Listen to his story, then claim possession of the always-fun Goron Mask. Now you can roll like the Gorons, and more importantly, begin saving all those frozen ones.
