Well, this update wasn't quite on time, but things have been busy at the GIA as of late. I've got plenty of art left over from this update, so expect to see another update in a few days. It's two, two, two updates in one! Today's update features an ecletic mix of games both old and new -- and even both at once, as Otaku's "Nina Saga" spans the whole Breath of Fire series. New artist Nadia debuts with "Princess of Guardia" (Chrono Trigger), and Sakana contributes GIA's second Star Ocean 2 piece, "Who's your true hero?" The GIA's own Tamzen Marie Baker takes time off from maintaining the Vault to draw "Angelic Luna." Of course, it wouldn't be a fan art update without Final Fantasy games or the ever-popular Xenogears, but some different characters appear this time. Maria and Krelian (aka Karellen) finally see some exposure in Keiii's "Shevat Valda" and Amber Michelle's "Shattered Dreams", respectively. On the FF VII side, the prolific Petra Rödig contributes two pictures of the Cosmo Canyon tribe, one an adorable animated GIF of Nanaki and the other a portrait of his father. Red XIII also appears in new artist's "Tifa and Red XIII take up the slack," depicting the pair of characters in battle. Pamela Ramali contributes the tenth piece of the update, "On the Moon" from Final Fantasy IV. I'd think of something witty and profound to conclude this update with, except that it's 2:30 AM and I don't feel like it. Enjoy the art, and the Eldridge captain's obsession with the word "evacuate." - Fritz Fraundorf, who isn't obsessed with Chu-Chu. Honest.
