Climax Landers back on track

[07.26.99] » Climax sets a new August release date for its oft-delayed action RPG.

   Last week, Sega of Japan and Climax jointly announced that Climax's long-awaited action RPG, Climax Landers, had been delayed for an undetermined period of time thanks to a bug in the software discovered during the manufacturing process. Thankfully, the problem now appears to be resolved, as the companies are now announcing a new release date of August 19. The new date will likely end up as the absolute and final release date for the oft-delayed game, barring any future manufacturing glitches.

   Despite the setback, it seems North American Dreamcast owners won't be affected by the delay, and will find the game on shelves before the end of the year. Check out information and screen shots from Climax Landers here.
