Sorry about the long wait this time, but I figured hey - I got a bit off schedule last week, and I'd prefer to get back on schedule, Tuesday and Friday updates, as soon as possible. And that means a little bit more time for submissions this last week, and plus I've been going back and clearing out my inbox, which means a double-size update today - eighteen pieces! (And I'm not even entirely done with the inbox yet... yikes.) So again, there are two galleries, which I'll detail below.
Gallery number one starts and ends with Petra Rödig, from two snapshots of BoF3's Rei looking rather young and rebellious, to "Black Sun", a gorgeous picture inspired by last week's solar eclipse. Hendrick Sukardi's sketchy yet detailed style paints a moody picture of Chrono Cross's Serge, in "The Clock Restarts.." and new artist Dwaine B. gives us our first (and very cute) piece of Dragon Quest Monsters fan art. Two of Final Fantasy VI's beautiful women are represented today, in Jen M's carefree "Daryll" and Laura's gorgeous "Terra". Aeris seems to be a popular subject this time around, with two fantastic works - Ammo's "Aerith" and Chris Bunag's "Forget Me Not". And as a summary of the whole thing, we have an untitled and impressive collage of each major FFVII character from Dragonstar.
In the second gallery, Squall seems to be a popular subject with three pieces, a soft CG from SouL, a pencil drawing by Jen M, and a poster from new artist Seifer. His love Rinoa is also represented with Chris Bunag's "Heartilly on the Wing". Tamzen Marie Baker continues the RPG heroine/Pokémon series with "Jolt", of Kartia's Lacryma and the little electric mouse himself.Elaine Fair contributes a beautiful portrait of Lunar's "Jessica". Alex Shilin gives us a very cute SD of SO2's Precis (with a device which I definitely approve of ;)). And finally we come to Kei's "Crescens", a picture of Xenogears' Emeralda which simply glows.
And that's all for today's update, (as if that wasn't enough?) so I leave you with this final plea: Someone get that monkey already. Please. You know you want to.
