Eh, Garnet's 'la la la' stuff was better than the actual song. :P

Note: None of these were made by me (except for the ones marked as being made by me) - I got them from various archives and such around the net, and have no idea who did most of them, because they are very seldom labelled. I greatly appreciate the effort the people who made them put forth, though, and their work certainly doesn't go unappreciated!

¤ Final Fantasy IX ¤

The Place I'll Return to Someday. The title screen music, meaning that it's the first thing you hear when you put in the game. (Other than the PSX logo bit, obviously...) Quite lovely.
Memories Erased in the Storm. Part of the whole "opening sequence" thing.
The Skies of Alexandria. And continuing on that theme...
Vivi's Theme. Watching him walk around bumping into stuff and falling down with this playing was just too perfect. :D
Vamo' alla Flamenco! Plays during the "dueling" scene near the start... which I could have done all day. :D
Decisive Action - Search for the Princess.
Battle 2. The boss battle theme.
RUN! The mandatory "you're going to get your butt kicked if you don't get out of here" music.
Crossing the Knoll. The overworld theme.
Cid's Theme. Not actually sure of the title on this one... it plays in the castle of Lindblum, though, so this is an educated guess.
Lindblum. So do all towns have their own theme music in this game? Hey, I won't complain!
Hunter's Chance. Played during an early mini-game.
Qu's Marsh. "Wow, bro, you sure know a lot!"
Aloha de Chocobo. The music for the chocobo-related areas.
Ukelele de Chocobo. Yep, yet another one! This is the music that plays when you're riding the chocobo.
Freya's Theme. Mmm, I love harpsichords.
Boundary South Gate. Another town theme, more or less...
Forgotten Face. A wistful version of Freya's Theme.
Kuja's Theme. Weirdly creepy, just like its namesake.
Mystery Sword. Plays during battles with a key person.
The City that Never Sleeps. The music from Treno... and is it just me or does it sound like an upside-down version of Spinach Rag from FF6?
Tantalus Theme. Zidane's buddies! I liked those wackos...
Immoral Melody. A variation on Kuja's Theme.
Garnet's Theme.
Cleyra Settlement. Definitely one of the cooler villages I've seen... and home to a scene everyone seems to either love or hate. ;)
Loss of Me. Sometimes referred to as Beatrix's theme.
Fossil Roo.
Black Mage Village. Sort of a remix of Vivi's Theme, and sounds quite a bit like the Mysidia town theme from FFIV, too!
Ruins of Madain Sari. Where Eiko lives.
Wall of Sacred Beasts. Also known as the Eidolon Wall.
Iifa Tree. Very creepy dungeon theme.
Amarant's Theme. Reminds me a bit of Shadow's Theme from FFVI.
Esto Gaza. Nice and peaceful.
Gulug Volcano. This was a really nice surprise for us old-school FF freaks. ;)
Secret Library Daguerreo. An easy place to overlook if you don't explore.
The Airship, Hildegarde. Like you can't figure out what this might be...
Consecutive Battles. I seem to remember this playing during the mission to the four shrines...
Terra. No, it's got nothing to do with the FF6 character. ;)
Branbul, the Village Without Souls. Beautiful theme from a spoilerish location near the end of disc 3.
Pandemonium. A rather annoying dungeon.
You Are Not Alone. Plays during that scene with Zidane near the end of disc 3 that everyone loves.
Skirmish of Silver Dragons.
Dark Messenger. The second-to-last battle theme.
Last Battle. Gah... this music was flat-out disturbing. Too bad a midi can't include the part that made me really cringe...
Bittersweet Romance. Part of the ending.
Melodies of Life - Final Fantasy. The main theme of FF9, ending in the main theme of the series. Yum.
Prelude. I'm really starting to think they should give this tune another title, considering it's more a "postlude" these days...
