A large cast of Guardian Force monsters are slowly shaping up for Square's Final Fantasy VIII. From the latest V-Jump magazine in Japan comes a render of "Brothers," a pair of monsters originally from Final Fantasy V known as Sacred and Minotaur. The second scan depicts "Cerebrus," a three-headed monster also from classic Greek mythology (and from numerous other Final Fantasy titles).

   That makes 12 summoned monsters so far: Leviathan, Ifrit, Shiva, Alexander, Chocobo, Siren, Pandemonium, Quetzalcoatl, Cerebrus, Brothers, Bahamut, and Carbuncle. The last two have yet to be seen in action.
