First Breath of Fire IV screens

   Coming just one day after the announcement of Breath of Fire IV are the first screenshots of the game in action. Much more detailed sprites of Ryu and Nina appear in all the shots; in the first screen, they're also joined in battle by a round gray robot. Closer inspection also reveals that the battle scenes feature more standard menus, and not the icon-based interface of Breath of Fire III. Battle commands include the standard "Atc" (Attack), "Mgc" (Magic), and "Itm" (Item), as well as a fourth, hard-to-read command that appears to be either "Lok" (short for Look or Lock, perhaps) or "Lob."
