SaGa Frontier II rates highly
[03.29.99] » Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu bestows a
35 out of 40 upon Square's latest RPG.
The latest issue of Japan's biggest gaming magazine, Famitsu,
contains the usual slew of reviews for the week's games. SaGa Frontier 2,
to be released in Japan on April 1, walked away from the magazine's tough graders
with scores of 9, 9, 9, and 8. Its total score of 35 out of 40 is enough to earn the
game a platinum star. Um Jammer Lammy also received an identical score two weeks ago.
There's still no word on a North American release of SaGa
Frontier 2, but the praise it's receiving in Japan certainly makes it a more
likely candidate for translation. Expect Square's full line-up of 1999 releases
to be unveiled at E3.
