Valkyrie Profile U.S.-bound

[10.22.99] » Enix surprises no one by bringing tri-Ace's RPG to North America.

   Shortly after announcing that would resume North American publishing with Dragon Quest VII, Enix America added a second game to its lineup: tri-Ace's Valkyrie Profile, which the company is also publishing in Japan. No release date was given for the title, save that it will arrive sometime in 2000.

   Heavily based on Norse mythology, Valkyrie Profile features monster-raising gameplay mixed with a fighting game-style battle system. More information on the title is available in the GIA's preview.
