Dragon Quest Monsters I & II coming to PSone

   Immediately following on the heels of Devil Children for PSone, Enix has announced their own Game Boy Color-to-PlayStation port: all three volumes of Dragon Quest Monsters. The conversion, which contains the first game and both versions of the second, will retain the same 2D graphical style as the handheld games rather than being fitted into the engine used for Dragon Warrior VII and IV. All three games will have expanded scenarios, and will include compatibility with an upcoming i-mode edition of Dragon Quest Monsters. The collection is due this spring in Japan; no release date for the US has been announced.
