First Suikoden Card Stories screens

[08.10.01] » Like April Fool's Day in August!

   Regular GIA readers may remember back to the April 1 announcement of Genso Suikoden Card Stories for the GBA. Though more than a few of our incredulous April Fool's Day audience assumed the game was a hoax, it's still very real and in development by Konami's Tokyo studio.

   The game will be a faithful recreation of the real world Suikoden card game and, from the early media, appears to feature an RPG-like quest mode. There is currently no word on a possible US release for the game, but with the recognizable franchise attached, it's definitely a possibility.
