Silent Hill 2 Xbox renamed

[07.03.01] » "Director's Cut" of Konami's horrific sequel on its way to Xbox.

   In an update to its list of developers supporting the Xbox, Microsoft inadvertently revealed a new name for the Xbox version of Silent Hill 2. Now titled Silent Hill 2: Director's Cut, the game will be an expanded version of the horror adventure due out on PS2 this Fall.

   It is still unknown exactly what special features or new material will make it into the Xbox versions, but the developers have hinted at additional story scenes, new areas, and upgraded graphics for the port. Silent Hill 2 has also been mentioned as a launch title for the Xbox, but whether this will happen for the US or Japanese launch is still unknown.
