Super Monkey Ball a lock for GameCube launch

   Gaming Age reported today that Sega has confirmed that Super Monkey Ball will be a Japanese GameCube launch title. The Amusement Vision-developed action / puzzle title will be available on September 14th when Nintendo's next console reaches Japanese gamers.

   Super Monkey Ball is definitely coming to North America, but has not been specifically confirmed as a launch title. As Super Monkey Ball requires only minimal translation, however, Sega should have no problem getting the game ready for the November 5th launch of the GameCube in North America.
