   Nintendo has released a few new details on the additional modes that will be offered in the handheld side story to Quest's long-running Ogre series.

   As previously announced, Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis will allow two players to battle with the use of a link cable. Both will need their own cartridge and saved game, but each player will be rewarded with new items at the end of battle, depending on their performance. The game will also offer a trading mode to swap items and troops.

   Quest is also adding in a new Challenge Mode which offers special battles outside the scope of the main story. Once they discover a special book within the game, players will be able to tackle these difficult missions at any time. Certain rare items and equipment is only attainable by beating these challenge battles.
