More Nintendo E3 titles confirmed

[05.15.01] » Dinosaur Planet confirmed to be Star Fox Adventures; Wario Land 4 and "Pikimin" to debut.

On the eve of Nintendo's press conference, Nintendojo has confirmed several more additions to Nintendo's E3 roster by investigating Nintendo's under-construction booth at the Los Angeles Convention Center. As has long been rumored, Rare's Zelda-style title Dinosaur Planet has become part of the Star Fox franchise; the game is now titled Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet. As "Dinosaur Planet" is still part of the game's name, it seems that the make-over will not completely change the game's premise.

Nintendojo also confirmed that Wario Land 4 for Game Boy Advance will be unveiled at the show. Wario Land 4 abandons the platform-based gameplay of the previous Wario titles in favor RPG-style mechanics, making it essentially the third title in the Mario RPG series.

Finally, the site reported that something named "Pikimin" will be on display at Nintendo's booth. However, it's not yet clear if Pikimin is a game or just a character, such as a new Pokémon.

The Electronics Entertainment Expo officially opens on Thursday. However, most if not all of Nintendo's offering should be shown at the company's press conference beginning 10:30 AM Pacific Daylight Time.
