Pokémon Stadium 2 gets a special cartridge
[03.14.01] » America's youth to be mesmerized by small,
two-toned, shiny object.
In the grand tradition of the limited edition
gold cart for Zelda: ToOT and the not
limited at all gold cart for Zelda: Majora's Mask, Nintendo has
announce that the upcoming release of Pokémon Stadium 2 will
come housed in yet another specially colored cartridge. The update
to the popular franchise which adds support for the 100 new Pokémon
found in last year's Pokémon Silver and Pokémon Gold
will, fittingly enough, come in a specially made two-tone gold and
silver cartridge.
Thankfully, the company has decided to forgo the
pseudo-3D lenticular label used for Majora's Mask, as the resultant
mix of bright, shifting colors may have been too
much for some to bear.
Pokémon Stadium 2 will be shipping to stores
March 26.
