Every Zelda: Majora's Mask to be housed in gold
[08.08.00] » Nintendo decides that gold is no longer a limited edition color.
Nintendo revealed at a recent press event that their upcoming Nintendo 64 adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask would ship in a gold catridge casing. In a nod back to the 8-bit NES Zelda games, all copies of Majora's Mask will be contained within the gold cartridges, meaning that gamers will not have to scurry to try to find limited edition gold carts, as was the case with the first N64 Zelda title, The Ocarina of Time.
Players who pre-order the game, however, will recieve the game with special packaging; Nintendo also revealed that pre-ordered copies will bare a lenticular label on the cart. The incredibly exciting lenticular image will show Link swinging his sword in pseudo-3D.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask hits North American stores on the same date as Sony's PlayStation 2, October 26.
