Samba de Amigo 2000 U.S. bound
[11.10.00] » Sega gives Americans another chance to shake
their maracas.
Gamers who are still having trouble justifying
their purchase of Sega's expensive (but oh-so-worth-it) maracas for
Samba de Amigo will be pleased to learn that the company has announced
a U.S. release for the game's arcade sequel, Samba de Amigo 2000.
As previously reported, the update
will feature new modes, new moves, and, most importantly, 40 new songs.
Though no tracklist has been announced, Sega is promising
a change of pace from the original's Latin flavor with a "more
Caribbean feel."
Samba de Amigo 2000 is still on track for a December
14 release in Japan, and the game is tentatively scheduled - with
the obvious name change - for Summer 2001 in the U.S.
