Samba de Amigo ver.2000 comes to Dreamcast
[09.25.00] » But while Japan is getting the new version, North America sees another delay in the original.
In a move that surprised absolutely no one, Sega has announced that their maraca-shaking sequel to Samba de Amigo, creatively titled Samba de Amigo ver.2000, would be hitting Dreamcast. What is a bit surprising is the speed that it will; while the title has yet to even appear in Japanese arcades, the Dreamcast will see it in a few mere months, on December 14. The new version promises over 10 new songs, and two additional modes, though no song names or gameplay details have been announced.
While Japan is well on their way to their second Samba, North America recently saw a slight delay in the original version. Originally slated for October 18, the English Samba has now slipped to October 21. No reason was given for the delay.
