ITEMS TO GET: Arcane Rod, Aquasol, SurvivalTent

   You're now in the second section of forest. The enemies here include the same old enemies, plus Forest Elves (the same ones you fought to save Elly) and Dive Bombers. The Dive Bombers will sit up in a tree, out of harm's way, until you take out the other enemies, then immediately fly down and attack with Flutter. The trick to beating them is to simply have Elly use her magic to take them out from a distance while Fei beats up the enemies on the ground.

   Anyway, head south and you'll see a sign. Go east up onto the cliff, where there's another sign. Avoid the Hobgobs and walk out to the edge of the cliff, to the west. Run and jump down to the southern of the two ledges (the one with the chest), and open it for the Arcane Rod. Equip it on Elly, then jump down and head south a little ways. Pick up the bag lying against the cliff for Aquasol, then go back up to where the second sign was. This time, hug the east wall and jump south onto the cliff there. Open the chest for a Survival Tent, but don't bother using it. Just save the game at the save point, and head west across the stone bridge. Continue southwest, and Fei and Elly will start talking.

   Elly convinces Fei that the destruction of Lahan was all his fault, then storms off, only to be attacked by the Rankar Dragon. Heal up if you're low on HP, then run south to confront the dragon. You can't beat this guy, so just defend (he can kill you, however, so heal yourself if need be). After a few turns, Citan will fly in in his Land Crab and drop Fei the Weltall, and the game switches over to a Gear battle. Alternate between X button attacks (when at Attack Level 0), and Raigeki -- push Triangle, then X (when at Attack Level 1). You'll need to have learned Raijin in order to use Raigeki, but it's unlikely you won't have it by now. Note that there's no way to heal your Gears (not yet, anyway), but you shouldn't need to anyway. Also note that Guided Shot doesn't do any damage, so don't use it.

   lAfter you defeat the Rankar, it will roll over (right onto Elly ^_^) and die. Citan and Elly will talk while Fei sleeps, and Elly will leave. Citan then tells Fei they should go to the desert to find some parts to repair Weltall. Leave the clearing and you'll be back on the world map.
