Woodfall Out of the City, Into the Swamp More walkthrough

ITEMS TO GET: Bunny Hood, Great Fairy's Mask, Blast Mask, Bremen Mask, Kafei's Mask, Kamaro's Mask, Bomb Bag, Big Bomb Bag, Bombchus, Empty Bottle, Pictograph Box

With Link returned to human form, Clock Town and the surrounding areas can be plundered for a number of items and masks- which are coincidentally covered in the items and masks sections. The most necessary of the items is the bomb bag, which should be purchased at the Bomb Shop in West Clock Town. The most helpful of the optional items in the Bunny Hood, which can be found at Romani Ranch.

When equipped to your satisfaction, exit due south into Termina Field. Soak up the wonder of the Zelda overworld theme, then proceed directly south again into Southern Swamp, pausing to watch a nicely done cinema that gives a bit of depth to Skull Kid. The left path leads to a shooting gallery that requires a bow, so make a straight line forward. Bring down Tingle with a bubble, purchase a Woodfall map (and a Snowhead one if you can afford it), and continue southward.

The first building contains the Swamp Tourist Information center, but can be safely skipped for now. Transform into Deku Link and hop across the lily pads to the left of the center. You'll see a giant pot and a wooden gateway, head through it to reach the Magic Hags' Potion Shop. Climb the ladder and check with the shopkeeper, Kotake - one half of the Ocarina of Time boss team Twinrova - and learn of her sister, Koume, who has yet to return from an errand in the Woods of Mystery.

Head due north into the woods, then speak to and follow your monkey guide while guarding against the turtles' attacks. Eventually you'll find Koume, who will thank you for your kindness by bitching at you for not having anything to make her feel better. Return to the potion shop and relay her request to Kotake, taking her red potion back to Koume. Once you've delivered the potion (and kept the empty bottle it came in), leave the woods.

On your way out, you'll be stopped by a trio of monkeys whose brother is trapped inside the Deku Palace and request your help in saving him. Listen to their plight, then go back to the tourist center and take Koume's boat tour. You'll get a complimentary tour for your heroism, and the first stop is none other than the Deku Palace.
