ITEMS TO GET: "FDM"

This part of the walkthrough is purposely vague to keep spoilers at a complete minimum while providing all necessary info. Once you've defeated the four temple bosses, confront Skull Kid atop the Clock Tower once again. Instead of reclaiming your Ocarina, though, play the Oath to Order and watch the cinema. You'll end up in an incredible looking field environment with a beautiful tree and five children. Four of them run around wearing the masks of the four bosses, while the fifth sits at the base of the tree.

If you have managed to collect the 20 masks aside from the far right row (and the empty spot in the lower right corner), then you can finish all the mini-dungeons. If not, you'll come up short and there will only be a heart piece as reward in each of the mini-dungeons you visit. You can speak to the fifth child at any time to start the final sequence, though the description here is vague to minimize spoilers. Should you decide to do the mini-dungeons, speak to any of the children and skip to the paragraph below that matches. You can use the blue light near the entrances to warp back from any of the areas, and don't worry, you'll get your masks back.

Odolwa:

You'll need to give the child with Odolwa's mask one mask to enter and one to exit. As Deku Link, fly from the flower on the ledge to one of the flowers on the spinning arm, then to the next spinning arm. The second arm has a pink and a yellow flower, but you won't be able to reach anything from the pink flower, so stay buried in the flower when the spiked arm goes by and quickly fly to the yellow one. The heart piece is in the back right corner, and the exit is in the back left.

Goht

By far the most challenging of the four, you'll need two masks to enter and two masks to exit here. As Goron Link, roll forward from the start and allow yourself to bounce off the treasure chests and over the ramps, making slight corrections as necessary. Falling takes off no life, so fall instead of taking the yellow warp tiles that lead back to the beginning should you make a mistake. If you want, you can stop at the first pair of green jars and turn right to reach the exit by the ice platform. Just be careful to avoid the warp tile between the hint stones in the gazebo. For the heart piece, though, you must navigate the entire circuit of ramps and chests. It's a good thing time doesn't apply here.

Gyorg

Three masks required to enter, three to exit. Change into Zora Link, then go left, left, right left for the heart piece and left, left, right, right for the exit. This almost makes up for Goht's area.

Twinmold

The most dungeon-like of the four areas, this requires four masks to enter and four masks to exit. Stock up with the jars, then kill the Dinofols in the first room. Next, defeat the Garo Master and hookshot your way to the chest that appears. Iron Knuckle is the next for a rematch, freeze him with Ice Arrows and follow with jumping slashes. Collect the Bombchus as reward and use them to destroy the cracked part of the wall high and to the right of the entrance -- if you're having problems with the timing, stand across the room from the wall, press C to hold the bombchu, then count to three and release it. Trigger the revealed switch with an arrow and climb the ladder that appears. In the next room, collect a heart piece, then use a bombchu on the crack in the ceiling -- if you're having trouble, stand in front of the hint stone while facing the entrance and again count to three. Fin.

Final Boss

For the first form, use a spin attack when it comes near you spinning itself, then slash with your sword. When the orbs start flying at you, Z-target one of the responsible parties and be sure to stay in front of the boss when he uses his fire beam attack. If you're targeted correctly, the beam will deflect off your shield and onto the enemy targeted. If the beam isn't used, just shoot everything with arrows. Once the orb-shooters are gone, target the boss with his own beam.

For the second form, use arrows to stun and jumping slashes once you've done so -- nothing fancy here. just keep your shield up during the occasional storm of attacks. The last form is also beaten using arrows to stun and slashes to kill, though light arrows will help even more. Just avoid the incredible range the boss has by keeping your guard up and rushing in when timely. Good luck, and enjoy the ending!
