ITEMS TO GET: Hookshot, Zora Egg (x7), New Wave Bossa Nova
Note: When you've filled all your available bottles with eggs, "soar" back to the research lab and deposit the eggs in the aquarium there, then return to the fortress. Your egg-collecting progress will be lost if you go back in time, so it is recommended that you start with a fresh set of 72 hours.
Once you've encountered the courtyard full of Gerudo guards, equip your arrows and the Bunny Hood. Your goal is to climn the ladder in the middle of the courtyard, so first take out the nearest guard patrolling the outer area. Run up next to the line of crates, then hit the guard standing next to the ladder with another arrow and quickly climb up. Slow your climb as you rech the top to gauge the next guard's position, then climb onto the platform and hit her with an arrow. Run down the bridge and into the door.
Watch the cutscene and learn about the newly divided eggs, then shoot an arrow through the bars and into the beehive to clear the room below. Go back out the door, hop down a level to your right and head into the main room. Claim the ever-awesome Hookshot from the large treasure chest, then aim it at the wooden plank above the aquarium that contains a Zora egg. Switch to Zora Link and equip a bottle, then avoid/ignore the clam-like Shell Blade and claim the first Zora Egg.
Go back out the door and run down the ramp to your left, dropping down a level and running towards the hookshot post to the south. Use your hookshot to go back up a level and go through the door facing east. Avoid the guard by hiding behind the barrels and proceed to the next room, where you'll duel the first of 3 Gerudos that use twin Scimitars. Defeat her by sidestepping her attacks and countering or shooting her with arrows when she attacks. The next room contains another Zora Egg.
Run back towards the door you first entered the courtyard through and find the hookshot post to the left. Make your way up two levels and enter the door facing west, then take out a guard and go through the door to the left. Win another duel and claim another egg. Run back through the room you dueled in and back out the door you entered, taking out the patrolling guard in the first room again. Hookshot up to the top level, take out a guard, run across the bridge and enter the northeast door.
If you're short on cash, take out the 3 guards and quickly claim 100 Rupees from the large chest. If not, take out the closest two and run for the door or hookshot to the exit. Here you'll find the third duel and the last Zora Egg inside the fortress. Before leaving, be sure to take a pictograph of a female pirate to trade with the fisherman; your best bet is to either use the Stone Mask or stand behind the corner of a box and snap a picture as one walks by you. Soar back to the aquarium and despoit whatever eggs you're holding, then head to shore to trade your pictograph for the gold seahorse. When finished, swim out to the strange pair of rocks jutting out of the ocean to the northwest.
PINNACLE ROCK
Immediately sink to the bottom of "Pinnacle Rock" and run to the first sign. Release the gold seahorse and follow it into the deeper cavern; if you don't have the seahorse, then continue forward to the next sign, then head right, passing one sign and stopping at the second. Head west to the closest sign, then inch southward until you see a school of fish to your right. Run towards them and you'll see two signs in the distance. First go to the left one, follow it to the right one, follow that north to one last sign and then head west into Pinnacle Rock itself.
There are three Zora Eggs to be found here, but first swim to the center and drop down to the bottom. You can kill the eels by using Zora Link's shield or by standing near their holes and luring them out to be hit with your boomerang fins. Kill the eel in the northwest hole on the bottom level for your first egg, then rise two levels and kill the eel in the southeast hole for another. The last egg is up one more level in the hole to the west. Once you've collected the last egg, swim back to the research lab and deposit the rest in the aquarium.
Watch the eggs hatch and learn a song, then soar back to Zora Cape and play it for Lulu, the singer who has lost her voice. The small island nearby will show itself to be a giant turtle; hookshot to one of the trees on its back and hitch a ride to Great Bay Temple.
