ITEMS TO GET: Power Elixir, Phoenix, Healing Bloom (x2), Ivory Book, Medicine (x2), Healing Leaf, Shield Elixir, Fertilizer, Magic Amulet, Door of Light, Noa Feral, Ra-Seru Egg

   In the monastery, flip the lever to open the airlock, then proceed inside. You'll see some scenes, and then you can move around again. Head north one room and search the stone Biron head for a Power Elixir. Head up the stairs. There's three doors on the north wall here; the leftmost one leads to a room where you can sleep to restore your HP and MP. The middle room contains a save point and shops (plus a Phoenix in one of the pots), and the one on the right houses Mei's mother Maya. Vahn can't enter, but Noa can go in and talk to her.

   If you take one of the center south doors out of that hallway, you'll be at the base of some stairs. Ascend them and enter the door in the middle to speak with Zopu, the head of the monastery. Agree to him, then go back to the bedroom and sleep. After you wake up, return to the main room (the first room you were in) and talk to Zopu. You can choose whether to go to West Voz Forest or East Voz Forest, but even if you choose to go to East Voz, you'll end up going to West Voz anyway.

   Gala will join your party once you've made your decision. He's really weak right now (due to his extremely short agility bar and lack of a Ra-Seru), so he'll mostly be a liabiliy, but don't worry, he gets better.

   Return to the room with all the stairs and take the northwest door (or northeast, for you weird East Voz folks). Pass through the airlock and out onto the world map. Head west to the Mist-covered valley. Once again, you'll be denied entrance, but you can grab the all-important Ivory Book, which greatly raises your chance of assimilating Seru -- almost to 100%. Give it to Noa for now so she can catch some more Seru. You'll be able to find more Veras in the forest (very important, make sure Vahn and Noa both have them), plus a new Seru called Nighto (try to get one for both Vahn and Noa).

   Once inside the actual West Voz Forest, head northeast until you reach a fork. Go east and collect the Medicine from the chest, then head west until you reach a separate screen. Go north into the clearing and crawl through the log to the left. You'll be taken to a separate screen with two chests, which contain a Shield Elixir and the Fertilizer. Open both chests, then go back into the clearing and crawl through the other log (the one on the right side). Grab the Medicine, then head back west and exit north to the third screen.

   Turn right as soon as you get here and grab the Magic Amulet from the chest, then continue north until you find the Bridge Grass. Examine it and choose to use the Fertilizer on it. It will grow and allow you to cross the river. Do so.

   On the next screen, open the chest for a Door of Light, then keep going north and open the next chest for the Noa Feral. Equip it on Noa. Crawl through the green log to your left and pick up the Healing Bloom there. Then go south to a Memory Statue, save, and head west through the log. Keep going until you reach the Genesis Tree. When you touch it to activate it, you'll find the tree is already dead. A Ra-Seru Egg, however, remains. Take it, then use a Door of Light to warp back outside.
