Online Chu
Something that Sega has always pushed regarding ChuChu Rocket was its online capability. The first console game of its kind, ChuChu allows you to log online with the Dreamcast and compete with opponents all over the world in a Battle Mode-style game (albeit one with a lot more lag time). The addition of "Universal Phrases" even lets you communicate with opponents in their native tongue. To keep the competition spirit fresh, the Sega servers also keep track of the greatest victory margins.
Getting set-up for online play shouldn't prove to be all that difficult; the game will walk you through it step by step. In keeping with earlier sections of the guide, we've also included instructions for those of you playing the Japanese version. Check out Section 7 of the text version of the guide for the slightly lengthy explanation of getting online with the Japanese version.
Once you're online, the gameplay should be very similar to what you've already experienced in ChuChu's Battle Mode. There really isn't that much to explain in this section, so we'll leave you to your own accord...
