ChuChu Rocket! is a fast-paced, four-player puzzle game by Sonic Team, the makers of the Sonic the Hedgehog series and NiGHTs. Announced during the 'Four from Sonic Team' series of press releases, ChuChu Rocket! was originally released in Japan on 11.11.11 (11.11.99 on the Roman calender) amidst a fairly heavy marketing campaign. Clocking in at a mere 2800 yen (about US$26), or 4800 yen (US$45) with a limited edition clear orange controller, the game proved to be quite a hit (as did its commercial). Luckily, North American and European gamers weren't going to miss out on the Chu-mania, as the game went on to be released at a bargain price in those territories on March 7, 2000 and May 12, 2000, respectively. Overall, the game is a blast (if you're still deciding whether or not to pick it up, check out the GIA's review) whether you're playing the 4 Player Battle Mode with three friends, or attempting the Puzzle Mode by yourself.
Of course, though, if you've got the game, you know it's a blast. You also know that it can be a truly devilish game, both in terms of addiction and difficulty. That's why the GIA has compiled this guide for you. Featuring gameplay tips, solutions for all 100 levels in Puzzle Mode, and hints for the 25 Stage Challenge Mode levels, we've tried to make this guide as complete as possible. If you know something that we don't, feel free to give us a shout and let us know what can be added.

Specially-designed GIA level |
The bulk of this guide are the solutions to the 100 Puzzle Mode levels. In order not to spoil solutions for later levels, as well as to help you recognise what level you're on, we've thumbnailed the stages without the solution arrows placed. Clicking on the respective stage will take you to the solution, with all of the arrows placed in the correct places. Try the thumbnail to the right for a demonstration.
Of course, if you'd prefer a text version of the FAQ, one is available, although if all has gone well that's the same URL that you got this document from. This document is intended for personal use only, so please do not post it on other sites or otherwise distribute it without permission.
If you want to do things properly, continue on to the next section, Getting Started. However, if you want to bypass normal convention and read the guide out of order (we know you've come for the Puzzle Mode solutions), use the Table of Contents to jump to a specific page, or use the links in the blue box to navigate through the sections.
