Oh yeah. Almost completely a Final Fantasy update today, but I'm not going to complain when the artwork's this good, right?

   The first gallery starts off with a piece from CHILD which really can't be titled, as neither I nor the artist know anything about the character (and I for one don't even know anything about the game...). She certainly looks interesting, though! New artist Fleur de lys offers three very nice pictures from early in the FF series, featuring FFIV's Cecil, FFVI's Terra, and the youngest cast members of the SNES games. Eferoth's "Esper Being" is a fantastic take on Terra as well. Petra Rödig recreates a very unusual event from FFVIII in "Moon Tears," capturing the surreal nature of that event quite well. John Polidora makes an incredible first appearance in these galleries with his sketch of all the primary FF8 cast members, while Ammo's "A Smile is Easier than a Frown" focuses on the laid-back, optimistic personality of Laguna.

   In the second gallery, K-chan has two FF8 CGs, "I promise..." which features Rinoa, and "An Evening with Quistis," who you'd never believe could look so glamorous. CHILD shows up here as well, with a great rendition of the most casual member of the Disciplinary Committee, "ya know?" Ghost Chen-Chen gives us a rather coy portrait of Rinoa, and Bernard Ng debuts with an impressive action shot of Squall. Finally, Petra Rödig ends the update with two pieces, showing her versatility - a chocobo screensaver (which I noted made me feel like my computer was the Gold Saucer) featuring several different colors, and a very funny Parasite Eve/Wild Arms drawing, which I cropped a bit for the thumbnail so you can be just as surprised by what's going on as Jack is...

   A note from last update... Nich seems to be very impressed at the amount of cool Fujin stuff that he received after I aired his plea in this space last week. So I've just got to tell you guys, you rock. Thanks for sharing, everyone!
