I don't usually draw characters from Final Fantasy 4 because although I loved the game, the characters weren't as meaningful to me as in, for instance, Final Fantasy 6. For some reason, Valvalis stuck out. She had a small part and eventually was destroyed, but that's a type of mystique one can build upon in art.
I felt I did a pretty good job at proportioning her body, but at least one person told me, "Her face is kinda flat." Oh well. That only spurred me to draw a more carefully constructed Valvalis not too long ago.
