Laguna may not be the star of the game, but he's still got a few collectible items out there. My mission is to get every one of them.

SD keychain

This absolutely adorable super-deformed Laguna is one of a set of five keychains which stand about two inches tall. Apparently they were sold in Japan at some point, and also handed out by Square's booth at the 1999 E3 convention. The other characters in the set are Squall, Rinoa, Seifer, and Zell - but who cares about that, right? ;) They're quite difficult to find outside Japan, but you can occasionally find one on eBay, if you're lucky...

Triple Triad Cards

The addictive mini-game exists in real life too now - and that means all the character cards do too! :D However, many of them are incredibly rare, and I've been told that the Laguna playing card, on the left, is one of the rarest of all of them. That means I don't have one of my own yet... anyone willing to sell? ;)
However, much less rare are the "Visual" cards, many of which feature pictures and info (in Japanese) of the characters, such as the picture on the right. (Click on it to view a close-up of the back of the card, where it seems to be talking about Laguna's limit break, "Desperado.") You can find packs of these cards, with a random mix of official TT cards and the visual cards, at many hobby and import shops, probably the same kinds of places you'd find the Pokémon playing cards. Or if all else fails, you can order them online at some gaming merchandise sites. And if you specifically want just certain cards, your best bet is to find someone who's willing to sell or trade.
