January Summer (1/15/00)

I find myself lost amid a swirl of seasons,
oh, and I, find myself, searching for the reasons
that my life could go on in such a melodramatic state
-a rollercoaster ride backwards through fate...
Ah, but it's my January summer and I'm walkin in the light,
my whole life's gone insane although I put up quite a fight...
I'm walkin on a tightrope with the universe upside down,
and it's on days like this you find a smile within that frown...
oh, but I can't trust in the world's people anymore,
I can't believe they give a damn when to them life is a chore-
oh, and I can't feel that anyone truly understands me...
maybe once you did, but that time has ceased to be...
and so I walk on towards eternity...
alone in my January summer...
