04/19/01--Rigor mortis
Yep, it really has been 11 days since I've updated the site that was supposed to be attended to daily. Blame it on the Gaming Intelligence Agency, where I've returned as News Superhero. If I ever have some free time ... I'll be studying for finals. Sorry!
04/08/01--Very polite rebellion
I'm ready for a vacation. Even this coming one-day break for Good Friday is looking pretty good for me, after the last week of frenzied physics and Japanese studying, and the coming week of preparing for my English presentation. Actually, I'm just ready for this semester to end and for the next one to start. It's so hard to stay in the present when the future looks that much better.
More music. This time you get a peek into my high school years, complete with angsty alternative rock staples Nirvana and Nine Inch Nails. And yet, I'm still a practicing Catholic. Maybe it's not actually impossible for people to tell the difference between reality and fantasy, eh? Actually, I'm pretty weird that way. I love punk music, but I'm a very shy, straight-edge person in real life. I love techno and dance music, but I've never done drugs, or even smoked or drank beer. I feel that listening to music which is a product of scenes like that is, for my purposes, a good enough substitute for actually living the lifestyle. I went through my teenage rebellion phase on headphones and no one even noticed.
04/05/01--Death II
Today's music update showcases a bunch of female artists. Eleven albums this time even out the nine posted last time, although I have to admit one of them is just a single.
And as much as I hate short updates like this, that's all I have time for today. Maybe there'll be more next time.
04/02/01--End of an era
Sorry about no updates recently. I was bored for a while last week, and so updates flowed regulary; recently I've been pretty absorbed in some novels, and I have a bunch of schoolwork this week. Regular updates to return soon, I hope.
