Revelations: The Demon Slayer released

[08.26.99] » Atlus's Game Boy Color RPG finally reaches stores.

Atlus informed the GIA today that Revelations: The Demon Slayer has shipped. Known as Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible in Japan, the Game Boy Color RPG is a remake of an earlier black and white Game Boy title and features traditional Megami Tensei gameplay, with plenty of monsters to recruit and merge. The title should arrive in stores in a day or two, and carries a suggested retail price of $29.99.

Despite the abundance of titles in Japan's popular Megami Tensei series, only one other game, Revelations: Persona, has ever found its way to North American shores, released for the PlayStation in 1996. Should Revelations: The Demon Slayer succeed, however, expect to see its sequel (shockingly titled Last Bible II) translated too.
