Dragon Warrior Monsters reproduce

   The long-running Dragon Quest series is far from over, as Enix has another game in the series in the works: a sequel to Dragon Quest Monsters (to be released in the U.S. as Dragon Warrior Monsters). Enix president Yasuhiro Fukushima recently told Bloomberg Japan that a second Monsters adventure -- the game currently has no title -- is in the works, and will be released during the next financial year (beginning June 2000).

   A Dragon Quest Monsters sequel is hardly unprecendented: over 2.2 million copies of the game have been snapped up by gamers since its 1998 release in Japan, and the sales figures will increase even more when the title arrives in North America later this year. Expect plenty more infomation on the sequel in the coming months.
