More on U.S. Lammy changes
[08.17.99] » A frame rate drop is offset by a bonus for
completing the game.
In a recent interview with Electronic Gaming
Monthly, Um Jammer Lammy creator Masaya Matsuura dropped a few hints
regarding additional changes to the U.S. version of his second game.
Most significant is the addition of an extra bonus option received
after completing the game; the reward was originally planned to appear
in the Japanese version as well, but was cut due to time restraints.
Matsuura also mentioned another slightly negative
change: the North American and European versions inexplicably suffer
from a lower frame rate in the between-level movies. (And, as
previously reported, Lammy's trip to hell has
been replaced with an inoffensive trip to an island.)
