Omikron PSX canceled

   The PlayStation release of Eidos's Omikron: The Nomad Soul has been a bit of a mystery lately -- only the PC version appeared at E3, and the PlayStation version dropped off retailers' lists some time ago, leading many to suspect it was either delayed or canceled. Apparently, the latter is true. Game Informer today reported from Europe (where the game is being developed) that the PlayStation version had indeed been canned, for unknown reasons.

   The PC version of Omikron: The Nomad Soul is still due out in November, but is outside the GIA's realm of coverage.
