Shen Mue Limited Edition planned in Japan
[07.26.99] » Early purchasers will receive a music CD, among other extras.
Yu Suzuki's "gift to the children of the 21st century" will contain another gift for those who snag an early copy: a music CD and special packaging. Sega of Japan recently announced that it would release a special limited edition of Shen Mue Chapter 1: Yokosuka on October 28th, the same day the normal version of the game ships. Only 160,000 copies of the limited edition will be produced; each will retail for 6800 yen (about $58 U.S.).
There's no word on whether the North American release of Shen Mue will carry a similar promotion; though more U.S. releases are featuring such extra items, gamers shouldn't get their hopes up just yet.
