Dragon Quest VII to be unveiled in August

   Almost bordering on vaporware at times, Dragon Quest VII is a project long steeped in mystery. The title has suffered numerous delays, and only one actual location -- the first town and its accompanying castle -- has been revealed. It won't be long before more information is finally released: Enix will announce the game's true release date, as well as major gameplay details, at a press conference sometime in August.

   Dragon Quest VII is officially scheduled for release in Japan in March 2000, though rumors making the rounds on several sites suggest the title could arrive late in 1999.
