Demon Slayer delayed until August

[07.19.99] » Atlus' Game Boy Color Megami Tensei RPG has been pushed back a month to mid-August.

Atlus' upcoming release of Revelations: The Demon Slayer, a Game Boy Color RPG from Japan's popular Megami Tensei series, has been pushed back a month from its earlier July 19 release date to August 20, according to the company. While no specfic reason was given for the delay, the strong drive to localize of Thousand Arms -- Atlus' most ambitious project to date -- is likely the primary reason.

Revelations: The Demon Slayer was originally known as Last Bible in Japan, and was recently ported to Game Boy Color after its original Game Boy release earlier this decade. The game is a traditional top-down RPG, and like all titles in the Megami Tensei series (such as Persona), one has the option to negotiate with enemies in battle. Demon Slayer adds a new twist: monsters can join your party and be pitted against each other via the Game Boy's link mode. Much more information on the game can be found in our preview.
