Metal Gear PC port solidifies

[07.07.99] » Microsoft to publish PC version of Konami's spy simulator.

The Nikkei Sangyo Shinbun recently reported on the exact details of Konami and Microsoft's previously announced joint publishing deal. Konami will be porting a number of Microsoft PC titles to the Dreamcast and PlayStation 2, while Microsoft will release a PC version of Konami's Metal Gear Solid sometime in 2000. Whether the original Metal Gear Solid or the enhanced Metal Gear Solid Integral will be ported is unknown, but the PC version will contain some type of network support. How it will be implemented, given that no current version of MGS includes any multiplayer features, remains to be seen.

Another Konami adventure title, Silent Hill, is under consideration for a PC port.
