Resident Evil: Code Veronica to include network support
[06.16.99] » Capcom makes plans for the Dreamcast's modem, but don't expect multiplayer modes.
Now that the Dreamcast's modem is confirmed for inclusion with the North American release of the system, more developers are adding network support to their games. Capcom is the latest to join the list, with its recent announcement that Resident Evil: Code Veronica would include such support. According to Capcom's president, Kenzo Tsujimoto, the modem will likely be used solely to download new or updated game data into the Dreamcast VMS, and not for online play.
