Further Dewprism character info revealed

   Square's Dewprism page contains plenty of background information on the title's eccentric cast of characters, but, up until now, only Japanese-speakers could read it. Maktos Translations recently posted the following English translation of the bios:

"Duke
Bell's follower who uses the secret technique, "Narikiri"

Bell's partner, he loves and respects Bell like a big sister. Like you would come to expect after playing other RPGs, he is a hindrance to the main characters. Sure enough, he attacks Rue and Mint and is always getting in their way. Since he is so easy to influence, every time he reads a new book his attack method changes!

"Elena
The girl who is an idiot by nature

Kraus and Mira's daughter. She was born with an inclination toward stupidity, so she pretty much causes confusion wherever she goes.

"Kraus
Collector of antiques and archaeology maniac

An archaeology amateur, he runs a shop that sells excavated items and the like.
Although he is gentle and good-natured, you can't always rely on this man, who is also Elena's father.


"Mira
Elena's mother

The mother of Elena, she helps out her husband with his research. It doesn't means as much to her as it does to him, but she's taken it up as something of a hobby.


"Rod
The weapon smith who is mastering the way of the sword

A wandering weapon smith who also uses the swords he makes! He even makes magic weapons. Although a nice guy at heart, he is always looking for a challenger so he can test out his latest weapons. He wants to be a great sword master!


"Blood - the older Rogue Brother
Smorky - the younger Rogue Brother

The brothers do nothing but evil, but they never do anything major.

"The mysterious man
He killed Claire with his right arm of death

This man murdered Clair, who was raising Rue at the time. He uses his right arm as the source of his great battle power. Rue still has nightmares, and is suffering greatly over his sisters death 3 years ago. Moreover, Rue doesn't know when he will show up again.


"Queen Maya
She protects the "Inheritance"

Princess Mint's younger sister. Mint is next in line to be queen; Maya is the current queen. Unlike her older sister Mint, she is much more gentle and dignified. Being the princess, she is famous among her people. She has a problem with Mint's violent lifestyle, and often fights with her about it. The Queen's duty is to guard the "Dew Prism", so she puts a seal on it to protect it. Unfortunately, this stands in the way of Rue and Mint.


"Doll Master
The ambitious sorcerer who hides behind a mask

The royal court magician, master of black magic. Using his skill at politics, he convinced Queen Maya to trust him implicitly. He skillfully plotted to acquire the "Dew Prism", keeping everyone totally unaware of his actions.


"Bell
Female treasure hunter

A treasure hunter who wanders throughout the world in search of treasure. After joining Duke and Conbi, she begins acting like a villian. She had met Mint before, but she had been deceived and ended up going through quite an ordeal. She is planning to kidnap Rue and Mint and acquire the "Dew Prism"."
