E3: Syphon Filter 2 in development

[05.14.99] » Eidetic's Metal Gear-esque adventure title gets a sequel.

   IGNPSX reports that several sources have stated a Syphon Filter sequel is in the works at Eidetic -- hardly a surprise, given the phenomenal critical and commercial success of the original. The sequel could be at as soon as the end of the year, though a 2000 release date is more likely.

   Expect an official announcement of the title soon.
