E3: Activision grabs Blue Stinger
[05.14.99] » Previously thought to be a
Sega release, Blue Stinger is now in the hands of Activision.
It's been no secret that Blue Stinger is coming to
the U.S., but the game's publisher was apparently hidden. Activision
surprised E3-going adventure fans by announcing it had acquired the
rights to the game and would be publishing it this fall; it was
earlier believed Sega would be doing so.
This first game is just the beginning, though, as
developer Climax Graphics is reportedly hard at work on a Blue Stinger
sequel for release next year.
