Monster Rancher 2 confirmed for U.S. release

[05.06.99] » Tecmo's monster breeding sim will appear at E3 next week, and on store shelves later this year.

   The original Monster Rancher achieved cult hit status when it was released back in 1997, thanks to the unique ability to create a monster from any compact disc. Monster breeding fans will soon have twice as many monsters to choose from, as Tecmo recently confirmed that the sequel will reach North America later this year. It will also be one of the pair of titles Tecmo displays at the E3 expo (the other being the inexplicably popular horse racing sim Gallop Racer).
