Soul Reaver release date, intro

[04.27.99] » Eidos divulges an official release date for and the opening movie of Legacy of Kain's sequel.

   Varying rumors of different release dates for Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver are no more. Eidos today announced an official release date of June 7th, slightly later than the previously reported May 30.

   While the slight delay may disappoint followers of the title, the release of the game's CG intro is sure to offset it. Clocking it at around three and a half minutes in length, the intro features Soul Reaver's hero Raziel narrating the story of how Kain stole Raziel's wings and maimed his body. Appropriate flashbacks of the action accompany the story.
