Ogre Battle 3 expands

[04.22.99] » Quest's strategy epic will ship on the biggest N64 cartridge yet.

   When we last heard of Quest's Ogre Battle 3, the game was set to appear on a 256 megabit cartridge, tying the current record for the system. Now, Quest announced that the third Ogre Battle title will instead use a 320 megabit cartridge, making it the largest N64 game yet. Large amounts of pre-rendered graphics are most likely reponsible for the shift.

   Unfortunately, with this expansion comes a delay: Ogre Battle 3 will not reach Japan until the summer, with a North American coming in the fall courtesy of Nintendo.
