Sony announces Legaia contest

   Fans of Sony's latest RPG release will soon have a chance to win prizes for their support of the game. Sony today announced the "Envision Your Own Site" Legend of Legaia contest, scheduled to run through June 7. Participants can use provided screenshots and art of the game to construct a single image of a web site, which will then be judged by web design firm Jamison/Gold, also responsible for Sony's own PlayStation.com site.

   "With the 'Envision Your Own Site' Legend of Legaia Contest we are giving artistic, technically-savvy consumers and RPG enthusiasts a unique opportunity to express their creativity and show their excitement for the game," said Ami Blaire, director of product marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America.

   Prizes include $1000 in cash for the grand prize winner; a copy of Legaia, a Dual Shock controller, and three memory cards as the first place prize; and three memory cards for each of the five second place winners.
